Distinguished Professor Emeritus Diane Mackie is the recipient of the 2023 Thomas Ostrom Award. This honor is awarded by the Person Memory Interest Group. The Ostrom Award is the highest honor in the field of social cognition and as the selection criteria states, "...(it) recognizes someone whose career manifests not only a record of significant and influential publications but also contributions to social cognition through training students, editing important volumes and journals, and facilitating collegial interaction through meetings and conferences." Diane will receive a plaque commemorating this recognition at this year's Person Memory Interest Group meeting in Wisconsin.
