Research

Our laboratory works closely with the Department of Chemistry and Bioengineering and Kevin Plaxco, PhD, to develop biosensors for the real-time detection and monitoring of a variety of molecular targets in real time. We are currently adapting the sensors for subcutaneous application, in hopes of creating a viable, minimally invasive platform for the real-time detection of both therapeutics and recreational drugs in vivo.
