Melinda Baham

Biography
Melinda Baham earned her B.A. in Psychology from University of the Pacific and her M.A. and Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology, with an emphasis in Quantitative Methodology, from Arizona State University. Her graduate research involved parent-child and sibling relationships during adolescence, with a focus on social, emotional, and academic developmental outcomes. She then taught full time at a community college and studied pedagogical best practices for student success before joining UCSB’s Psychological and Brain Sciences Department as a Lecturer in 2023.
