PBS Assistant Professor Regina Lapate is the recipient of a prestigious 2024 Hellman Fellows award, which provides research funding to promising assistant professors “who show capacity for great distinction in their chosen fields.” The award, given to only a small number of faculty across the entire University of California system, will support a new dense-sampling study of positive and negative emotional memories–the Life of Memories (LiME) Project– led by Mengsi Li in collaboration with Nadu Barbashova and others in the LEAP Neuro lab. Check out Dr. Lapate’s lab page and stay tuned for more!
