Shelly Gable has received the Berscheid-Hatfield Award for Distinguished Mid-Career Achievement from the International Association for Relationship Research, the premier scientific society for close relationships research across the globe.  This award, which is given to one scholar every other year, honors the distinguished scientific achievements of scholars who are in the middle stages of their careers, that is, between 10 and 25 years post-Ph.D.
