Biography

Samantha Scudder is a research associate working with Dr. Karen Szumlinski. She completed her ScB at Brown University in 2010 and her PhD at UC San Diego in 2016. Currently, her research focuses on the impact of drugs of abuse on circuits in the brain with an emphasis on cellular and molecular alterations, primarily using acute slice electrophysiology as a tool.
