Biography
I received my B.S. in Psychology from Florida State University (2019) and my MSc in Social, Cognitive, and Affective Neuroscience from the Freie Universität Berlin in Berlin, Germany (2023). My master’s thesis research explored the relationship between environmental factors such as socioeconomic status and early life stress, spectral EEG power, and cognitive function in children and adolescents. In addition, I worked as a Student Assistant in Dr. Annie Wertz’s research group at the Max Planck Institute for Human Development conducting studies on infant social cognition. I arrived at UCSB in March 2024, joining Dr. Wertz’s Lab for Infant Learning and Cognition (LILAC) as lab manager.
