Biography

Evan is a postdoctoral researcher working with Drs. Michael Miller at UCSB and Ueli Rutishauser at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. His research investigates the neural underpinnings of memory and decision-making at the single neuron level using intracranial electrode recordings in epileptic patients. Evan received a B.A.S. in Neurobiology and Psychology at UC Davis in 2012 and a Ph.D. in Psychological and Brain Sciences at UCSB in 2022. His dissertation research investigated the behavioral and neural mechanisms of criterion shifting during recognition memory.
