Biography

Shangcheng obtained her B.S. degree in Psychology and Cognitive Sciences from Peking University. During her time there, she conducted research in Shihui Han’s laboratory, exploring neural correlates of social categorization during face perception. She joined Hongbo Yu’s lab as a PhD student in 2023, where she continues her research on social perception and delves deeper into its successive influence on emotion, decision-making, and real-world dynamics.
