Biography

Leah Gano earned a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Oregon, where she was a Ronald E. McNair Scholar and wrote a thesis on maternal stress and child executive functions. In Fall 2024, Leah will start her PhD under the mentorship of Dr. Barry Giesbrecht. In her free time, she enjoys working out, taking long walks, and crocheting.

My research interests lie in exploring how augmented reality can be used to better understand brain function during engagement in real-world activities.
