The Association of Psychological Science recently named Regina Lapate (CPCN and Social) and Hongbo Yu (Social), who both recently joined the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences, as “Rising Stars”. This distinction is given to recent PhD recipients, who are nominated by their peers, whose “innovative work has already advanced the field and signals great potential for their continued contributions”.
