Nancy Collins featured in APA Monitor

December's issue of the APA Monitor, the flagship magazine of the American Psychological Association, profiles the work of Nancy Collins' Close Relationships Lab. Prof. Collins, who earned her PhD at the University of Southern California, studies how close relationships help people thrive. Her lab applies state-of-the-art techniques, including immersive virtual reality, to better understand human relationships in a laboratory setting. Dr. Collins is the recipient of many awards including the Society for Personality and Social Psychology (SPSP) Theoretical Innovation Prize, the Harold J. Plous Award for outstanding contributions to teaching and research at UCSB, and the Outstanding Graduate Mentor Award from UCSB.
